Perfection Auto Body has been repairing cars on Long Island since 1990. Under new ownership, the shop needed a brand that honored its history and felt like theirs.
What Wasn’t Working
Auto body shops all look the same: black backgrounds, red accents, a car outline in the logo. Perfection had been building its reputation since 1990 and deserved better.
New owners Chris and Victor had spent their whole careers in the trade. They wanted a brand they could call their own.
The challenge was breaking away from what every shop looks like. We had to weave the new ownership into the logo without being heavy-handed. And we had to keep the link to what the community had trusted for 30 years.
How We Solved It
The letter P became the center of the logo, but it holds more than one meaning. Hidden inside it are a C for Chris and a V for Victor. The ownership is in the logo without announcing itself. A small red accent stays, as a nod to the shop's original colors. It keeps the thread back to the brand locals have known for decades.
The colors moved to navy and gold: coastal, high-end, nothing like the typical shop down the road. The type was built to feel modern and precise, matching the quality of work the shop actually delivers. The look covers business cards, uniforms, signs, and the website without losing its shape.
What We Delivered
Chris and Victor walked away with the full rebrand: a set of logo versions with the hidden ownership details built in. Plus the navy and gold colors, the fonts, and a simple rule book for using them. Now the new ownership shows up the same way everywhere a customer meets the shop.
The Result
Perfection Auto Body now has a brand that connects its 30-year history to the new chapter Chris and Victor are building. Longtime customers recognize the history. The new owners have a mark they can call their own. The new look has already helped the shop grow its customer base and win new business in the Miller Place community.
